Personal Level design exercise, done back in 2015, my first in depth experience with Unreal Engine. This was mainly done as a color and shape language study, why also getting in touch with the engine rendering possibilities. There is only one texture in this scene and that is for the smooth terrain gradient. I experimented with the water shader and particle systems to create pseudo realistic environment feel. The hazy ,heated atmosphere mainly comes from combination of different post fx volumes and colored distance fog.
